MIF BOOK EDITOR
I was appointed as Editor of the first book from Manchester International Festival, Everything That Happened,now available via Unicorn Publishing Group at Factory International and all good bookshops!
Over 12 months, I interviewed artists, contributors, audiences members and more, then wrote and edited more than 80 compelling and deeply personal contributions.
MIF started in 2007 as a biennial festival, bringing some of the world's greatest living artists to the city to delight and often challenge crowds in spaces of all shapes and sizes; from disused railway stations to atmospheric concert halls. It’s crossed boundaries and artistic disciplines, leapt over them, determinedly broken them down, to create unique productions that have gone on to tour the world. Everything That Happened is a celebration of that journey as the festival finds a permanent home for its creativity at Factory International.
GRATITUDE EDITOR
I have worked with Wild In Art, the team behind sculpture tour Gratitude, on their aural stories about the pandemic, and written a number of pieces for their brochure.
The collection of 51 human-form sculptures is touring the UK and visits Birmingham (August 20-30), Manchester (September 3-12), Edinburgh (September 17-26), and London (October 1-10) - before the sculptures are auctioned on October 12 to raise money for NHS Charities Together.
SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS
As part of my role as Associate Producer on two major podcasts, The Paul Ryder Tapes and Accidentally MILF, I developed a social media campaign and brand that runs on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok, and is adaptable to all other platforms.
The Paul Ryder Tapes is a first-hand, true account of the life and career of legendary Happy Mondays bassist Paul Ryder, and features interviews with many famous friends and his closest family.
Accidentally MILF follows the dating adventures of Angel Bliss, who entered the world of app-dating after finding herself single in her 50s. She soon discovered that she was very appealing to much younger men, and this podcast is her account of some of her most memorable and outrageous dates!
